TypeCam v1.0 Released

Tuesday, September 28th, 2010

We’re happy to announce the release of our latest app, called TypeCam.  TypeCam is a simple app that lets you stay aware of your surroundings while entering text.  TypeCam does this by allowing you to type text right overtop of the camera view.  Whether you are walking or at a concert – don’t miss out because you were looking down at your phone trying to type a message – Get TypeCam!

TypeCam has been designed to work on any camera-equipped device that is running iOS 3.0 or greater.  TypeCam works great on all iPhones, and the latest versions of the iPod touch which have a built-in camera.

Unlike similar type and walk style applications, TypeCam does not rely on the clipboard to transfer the text to your favorite apps.  The clipboard is an option, but when you are posting to Facebook or Twitter, you can update your status immediately from right inside our app – no need to exit.  TypeCam also works with eMail and, if you are running iOS 4.0 or greater, SMS.  All of this convenient functionality from right inside the app!

To get TypeCam now from your computer, simply click this link.  If you are reading this from inside one of our apps, simply head over to the “More Apps” view to download.

We hope you like it!  If you download and enjoy the app, please don’t forget to rate it in the app store.

ShayTards App Update pending…

Sunday, September 19th, 2010

ShayCarl recently changed his iPhone youtube channel from iphonetards to iphonetard.

We had already submitted an update to Apple using the first channel.  We just discovered the change thanks to someone who e-mailed us, and we have updated our submission to Apple to reflect the correct channel name.

Unfortunately, this means that the update may be delayed.  Normally when you remove your application from review and then re-add it, it will (understandably) make you go back to the back of the line in the approval process.

We hope to see this update in the store soon.  As soon as it is available, we will let everyone know – thanks for your patience!

Updates coming for iJustine and ShayTards

Sunday, September 12th, 2010

Many of you have contacted us and have asked us to add the new iPhoneTards and facebook content streams to the Unofficial ShayTards app.  Similarly, many have asked us to add the ijustineforgot twitter stream to the unofficial iJustine app.

We just submitted updates to Apple that contain all three of these items.  They should be available in the app store in the coming days.

Keep the suggestions coming – we love hearing from the users of our apps!
